Silk Flowers

This idea was actually spurred from my flower magnets! A friend contacted me and asked me to make fabric flowers for her wedding. After looking at her inspiration board, these were born. All you need is a satinish fabric (I used poly satin) and buttons. I cut the fabric into different sized circles. Then used a flame from a candle to burn and curl the edges. Stack them from large to small and sew them together with a button! Simple as that! Then I hot glued them to some fake flower stems! Viola!




Now onto the wedding bouquet!
