This was my first big girl work trip(s). Well technically second but I drug my mom on my first business trip so we'll count this as number one. I've been doing some traveling for work and just had the best time seeing all of our stores, finally putting faces with names and doing some sightseeing along the way. First stop -- Kentucky!
Rupp Arena! I had to see where all the crazy UK fans call home!
Then I headed over to Louisville. Me with Cardinal Bird, The UofL mascot! Campus and city of Louisville are great; I wish I had more time to spend there! The campus has some great characteristics and the people were so nice!
On my way over to Bowling Green, I took a small detour to the Jim Beam distillery.
This is about the most exciting thing, fresh barrels about to be delivered! It was smelly and smokey, I didn't even get out of the car! Not my cup of tea!
How cute is it? If only I got to stay in a house like this during college!
After a Easter holiday, I made a VERY quick trip down to Atlanta for an Auburn Alumni event, Tiger Trek. Despite not being an Auburn fan, it was pretty fun! Yep, that's me with the 2010 National Championship Trophy.
Overall, it was a busy but fun couple of days! Tomorrow I continue the journey and am headed down to Tuscaloosa! We have a store there that just barely missed the devastation. Prayers with those that weren't as lucky! Planning for a big craft weekend when I return tomorrow! New projects to come, hopefully!
