Blog-o-licious

Over the last two years I have become an avid blog follower. I love reading and learning about all different topics. My favorites involve anything to do with crafting, cooking, home decorating, diy, etc. Blog authors, content, and even fellow readers truly inspire me. With non-stop thoughts of planning my big day over the last year I had every intention of starting my own blog following wedding planning. A year later with only 5 posts on my belt, I am now married. Funny how things like that happen!

Anyway, I wanted to share the blogs (& bloggers) that I love to read.

The Budget Savvy Bride

www.thebudgetsavvybride.com

Jessica started her blog in the midst of her very own wedding planning. She has now been married over a year and features brides-to-be as guest bloggers. It was so fun “watching” Jessica’s blog evolve. Her topics include DIY, frugal finds, really everything you need to know about planning a wedding on a budget. My favorite segment is her “Wedding of the Week” where she features real weddings done on a budget. Brides talk about their favorite moments on their big day, how they saved money (and splurged), and has lots and lots of pictures. It is one I recommend and will continue to follow even though I am married!

The Pioneer Woman

A friend’s mom recommended this blog to me almost 3 years ago. Ree is very passionate about cooking and it shows! She guides you through recipes step-by-step, WITH PICTURES!!! She has recipes that range from difficult to very simple. WARNING: Do not read while hungry!

Hello Cupcake Kentucky

This blog is written by my cousin, Jessica. She started making cupcakes as a hobby and turned it into a small business, until she got a full time job as a college professor that is. Her cupcakes taste and look delicious. She is so talented and can come up with a flavor and design for just about any occasion. Her Kentucky Derby and graduation designs are my favorite!

Nosh ‘N Nutrition

Also written by a cousin of mine. Lauren is a student at Alabama and has a knack for taking traditionally unhealthy food and snacks and recreating them in a much much healthier form. I have tried several of her recipes and they are great! Check it out. She also is an awesome artist and can paint like you wouldn't believe.

Hope you enjoy, too!
