Waiting on Baby

I have been MIA on here for way too long. Now that we are expecting our first baby, I just have so much to share. We've been patiently waiting for the past few months and excitement is growing everyday, along with my belly! So I'll try my best in a quick post and a few pictures to catch you up to speed!

Seth and I found out at the beginning of November that we were expecting a baby! It was the absolute hardest secret I've ever had to keep. And for those of you that know me, secrets aren't really by best thing. But we held it in until we were 8 weeks along and had our first ultrasound! We went to visit our parents over Thanksgiving to share the news in person. We made the grandparents-to-be a picture frame with a picture of us and Knox with a sign that said "Big Brother-to-be. July 2013." Everyone was so shocked and excited to be aunts, uncles grandparents and great-grandparents. Honestly, we thought some were even more excited than we were, if that's possible.

Then we waited another 4 weeks to share the news with everyone else via our Christmas card.

What a relief when the news was finally all out in the open. Since then, we've been planning, preparing but mostly thinking about Lil Bit non-stop. It's such a fun feeling knowing that we're going to be a mommy and daddy in just a few months.

I've been taking some (Seth and Brooke say not enough) pictures along the way! Here we are a 9, 13 and 18 weeks! More to come.

We find out on Valentine's day if our little one is a boy or girl! Until then, we're just finishing up some little projects so when February 14th rolls around we can 100% focus on Lil Bit!
