For those of you that know me, you know I love coupons. I always have coupon books for stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Seth and I even started subscribing to the Sunday paper just to get the coupons so I could quit stealing them from my aunt every week. Well, last night at dinner, a friend told me about her coupon QUEEN of a sister and some of her secret tricks. She has a $150 a month grocery budget for her and her husband AND has money left over at the end of the month. I spend almost that in a week! She told me about the website where she learned it all –
Southern Savers.

Once I started reading, I could not stop. This site is full of information about saving money. It’s actually a little overwhelming. So I decided to check out the
workshops and wouldn’t you know it, they have one in Knoxville coming up (2 actually)! I am definitely going! I know this seems a tad corny for a 23 year old but who doesn’t want a little, or a lot, of extra cash to spend on other things than papertowels, toothpaste, and milk. Let me know if you want to go, too! I cannot wait!!!
haha I'm OBSESSED with Southern Savers. My coworkers all give me a hard time about how much I talk about the site. Sean and I got the paper for the very same reason. I also print a lot of coupons offline...it's addicting! Let me know which workshop you go to, I would love to go to one. It would be nice to know someone there!
ReplyDeleteI love that website!!! Haha, last week I saved $29 off my groceries at Kroger. I love that you have discovered this too. There are a few others that i will have to fill you in on :)
