More about couponing

I never imagined that there would be so many comments about my discovery of a couponing website. So I thought I should share some more information that came my way. In attempt to start my coupon craze, I found a deal on Southern Savers at Walgreens and headed to the store to test it out. After searching the aisles for the deals, I struck up conversation with a lady doing the same. I explained to her this is my first time stacking coupons. Twenty minutes later I walked away with loads of new tips and even more excitment about my couponing journey. She started couponing less than a year ago and has saved over $2000 that she has kept track! WOW! Then, I proceeded to checkout at the cosmetic counter. She told me it's the best place to go if you have coupons so people behind you in line don't get mad. All in all I paid right at $5 for 2 rolls of wrapping paper, 6 packs of tissue paper and a finger nail polish. Then, I got $12 back in Walgreens bucks to use on whatever. It's almost like I got paid to go shopping! I cannot wait to lok at all the Sunday ads and coupons to get started for this week!

Anyway, lady (we didn't exchange names) told me about her favorite deals site where she learned everything - Faithful Provisions. They do tons of updates throughout the day and even feature internet savings. It really is a great site and based out of Nashville. Check it out. More to come after my coupon workshop in January!
