Tennessee Frame

Considering the Vols will be making an appearance in the Music City Bowl this week, I thought I would share my latest UT craft.

One of Seth's very best friends is as big of Vol fan as they come. He truly bleeds orange! He has all these autographed magazines and old newspaper clippings from Tennessee wins over the years. I was at his place and noticed they are all just sitting around. So I got to thinking about how I could do something with them. Here is my latest transformation...

This golf course painting was hanging at my mom's office. They were throwing it out and my mom saved it for me, knowing it would come in good use someday! Bright gold frame and a pretty decent size. Of course I planned on spray painting the frame, black for this project.

Laying out some of his memorabilia to see how it would fit! This is when I noticed it was missing something and came up with this...

Orange and white checkerboard, a UT favorite! I just stenciled it out and began to paint the mat that was used in the golf picture!

Put it all together and here's what we got!

Finished! Tice and I were both very happy with the final product! The checkerboard really makes it pop! This would be awesome for a man cave one day!
